Sometimes I get the sense that the people who make @dashlane don't actually use the product. Some of the UX choices are truly baffling.

Lots of companies with terrible UX (looking at you @Instacart).
I think the push to MVP has churned a generation of largely deficient apps, which creates barriers for people unwilling to work hard to figure it out.
Maybe the goal is to only have self-sufficient customers?
