If I were president of a college I would pledge not to kill students/faculty/staff, just so I could claim that we were "open for business." Seems like a low bar, but, maybe not, judging from recent announcements. insidehighered.com/blogs/jus…

If they believe it's safe, then it shouldn't be a problem for all of the administrators and board members to spend the first two weeks of school sitting in classes with students.
