I spend a non-trivial amount of time explaining basic technical or scientific concepts to regulators around the world because they misunderstood a press article or blog post that failed to explain it first.

Regulators read a surprising amount of news. And they talk to each other, so getting the answer right with the first one will go a long way to making life easier.

Yup & ofc they always read & spread the least accurate account on the internet. 😎
