Pls pls pls RT if you’ve ever watched a @Youtube video specifically to learn something. I’m trying to prove to my supervisor that YouTube is super useful for learning things. Feel free to comment below and tell me what you learned too, I’d love to know!

YouTube has thousands of hours of talks from conferences that people pay thousands of dollars to attend, and viewing those talks on YouTube is free.

Yes! And for me personally, repetition really helps in solidifying a concept. So having the opportunity to hear something explained by different voices in different ways is amazingly helpful

Beyond professional knowledge, I’ve used YouTube to fix my dishwasher, change the “non-customer-serviceable” fog lights in my car, replace the screen on my daughter’s iPhone, and many other DIY items. YouTube is definitely more than cat videos and Rickrolling others.

Yes! I’ve also used it for a breadth of things, both professionally and not. Speaking of, I’ve even used bird videos on YouTube to entertain my cat... 😂
