If conference organizers sell keynote slots to sponsors, how big of a deal is that to attendees?

I’m totally cool with sponsored keynotes if the sponsors are driving down the cost for attendees to low-cost or free.

Contrary to this, BlackHat pays speaker, covers travel. Also, for Student scholarship it is totally free to attend with full access.

but that does NOT happen. RSA Conf. passes are worth $875 - $3,000 and for Students total pass is $700 ish. There is a student day which are only 2 day out of whole conf. which is free, limited access to student. That's it!
