If the US govt knows govt officials are being targeted by a foreign adversary why don't they tell them? Isn't this clearly part of NSA's & FBI's mission, to secure the US govt? Even Google does this for customers. ksl.com/article/46205135/fbi…

Beyond what others have said, if you’re a government official, you’re being targeted by foreign actors, no FBI warning needed.
