1 used to think she couldn't be in this field because she saw mostly boys. Her mom told her about me. Told them they could wear glitter too

I met a high school senior at an IEEE security conference. She won best poster for hacking a smart toy teddy bear. Her college goal? Becoming a high school teacher, which is awesome, but I wept a bit that the security field couldn’t keep her engaged.
