I will never understand people who run up to the gate as the door is closing? Like???? My brain would literally be on fire. #AirportAdventures

If you haven’t got to your connection 2 seconds before the door closed after a mile run with a bag during which you knocked down someone standing in the middle of the duty-free corridor, you just haven’t flown very much.

I’ve ran up to the door closed, said “guessed I missed it” and the attendant told me to wait while she scurried down the gangway to see if the plane door was closed - it wasn’t and I got on. Flying is exhilarating in a non-fun way.
