Heard a student afraid to minor in art because they were afraid that it would hurt their application to CS PhD programs later. So putting this here: I am MORE likely to hire you if you have a minor in something interesting and unrelated to CS!!

I have a CS degree with a minor in Women’s Studies. Only regret was that I didn’t go for the double-major. Being afraid to pursue what interests you seems like a boring way to live life.
