Against my better judgement, I gave @HP #InstantInk a try. Turns out I don't print enough, so I cancelled and found out the ink they sent will not work once the subscription is cancelled. So I paid $50, never used their ink, and the unused ink I have from them is now trash.

There was an attorney lamenting a new trend in lawsuits that have puns in them. I can’t find it now, but it seems infosec is not the only field with jokesters and miscreants.

Masks remove the disadvantage of being homely. "Average-looking workers were perceived as more attractive by survey respondents when they were wearing masks, and their customer service scores were also higher" news.wsu.edu/news/2021/12/16…
I generally play comp because it's usually the most even, but lately it's been wildly one-sided. I'd be happy to play a game where the game auto-adjusts to make it more even, which makes it more fun. These uneven matches are getting super boring.
@PlayVALORANT I want to play matches that are roughly even. Suggestion, have a game where once a player hits 10 more kills than the highest on the other side, you side line them until the other side catches up.

If I summon the courage to waste a perfectly good steak with a banana-lemon-butter topper, I will definitely share the experience.

What? It’s so crazy, I almost now want to try it.

ICYMI: HP Printers have RCE. Update your firmware. And no, their HP Smart software doesn't warn you there's a new firmware update, you have to check and update it manually 🙄 support.hp.com/us-en/documen…

Baked bananas dipped in butter and lemon? I have serious reservations with that one.

BTW, the link shortened I used is this one: shadyurl.com/
A reminder that asking end users to make security decisions based on the URL is pure folly. Exhibit A (give it a try): 5z8.info/guns_l2b9rk_realpla…
“Read the URL”, people still insist, as though we can somehow determine legitimate emails from phishing ones. So, which is this one I just received? Legit? Or phish?

For example of how to do it right, @lawdotcom is up front with their subscription model (and they have pricing listed for their subscription too).
I wish @googlenews would allow me to exclude @Law360 from search results.

One day, you'll return and will sign in, then are told your free trial expired, i.e. the free trial you never knew you had. And if you look closely, you can't even subscribe, you have to provide your contact information again to be contacted by a salesperson.

Anyone else find the @Law360 website a bit deceptive? To read one of their news articles, you have to sign up (for free), but they don't mention it's a free 7-day trial.

That's a neat trick. The app is the State of Arizona's digital driver's license.
