That’s a much better cover than the one you did of the Psych theme song.

“the First Amendment has been interpreted to protect the harmful speech of white men over the critical speech of women and minorities.” If you haven’t read “Fearless Speech” by @ma_franks you should. papers.ssrn.com/sol3/papers.…

OWASP elections are closing soon, vote now! (And for Americans, vote in the political election as well!)
Dear @owasp members, please remember to vote in this year's Board of Director's election. You will find your ballot in either your owasp.org email or the email you used to sign up for OWASP. The Ballot is called "2020 OWASP Global Board of Directors Election" 1/2

True, but cases such as Grindr make me rethink the total ban on liability. Grindr knew who the perpetrator was, knew their platform was abused, but took no action while over 1000 strangers showed up for sex at victim’s work and home for nearly a year. buzzfeednews.com/article/tyl…

Curious on your thoughts regarding liability protect under 230 when the platform facilitates stalking and endangerment? I’m thinking of the Grindr stalking case in which Grindr was found not liable.

For my friends at social platforms, read this! It's a thought-provoking look at free speech. "Fearless Speech" should be the destination we all strive for in a free, democratic society.
In my article Fearless Speech, which I am currently expanding into a book, I argue that this is the kind of courageous speech we should valorize in a free speech culture instead of the cowardly propaganda of white male supremacy falrunc.files.wordpress.com/…

OWASP is focused on application security, this is industrial. They should want someone with a membership in InfraGard, which is a partnership with FBI and has a focus on protecting critical infrastructure, such as the power grid.

I’m just a visitor, but a perpetually constructed airport seems suspicious. It’s the Winchester Mystery House of airports.

Me going to LaGuardia: “Driver, you can let me out here at the auto entrance. I’ll walk the rest of the way, it’s faster.”

I alternate every book between fiction and non-fiction, it definitely is the way to go.

If they went with M, then they could have a cool moth logo.

Haha, given many people don’t even know what the acronym represents, we’re likely already there anyhow.

Thanks all, looks like most are in favor of leaving it alone. At least on Twitter within a degree or two of me.
There's some debate on the @owasp Leaders list asking if OWASP should drop "Web" from its name (Open Web Application Security Project). Thoughts?

ASD's cover of 'I got you babe' is incredible! Backstory here: npr.org/2020/10/23/927015227… youtube.com/watch?v=_YWnLFw1…
@TwitterSupport - despite having read this, when retweeting it I’m asked if I want to read it first. Whatever method you’re using to determine if I’ve read it first is broken.
This week, as our country prepares for the Election, explore the concept of voting with your students. With engaging shows and fun learning activities, all of your students can learn together, even if you're not in the classroom together. (Grades: 1-2) to.pbs.org/2HoNucW
Love that PBS is teaching kids about voting using Bingo, which is a lot like voting in the US.

In college, I worked at the Wherehouse record store. That location later became a Men’s Wearhouse.

Watching ‘Blackhat’ with the Silicon Valley DEFCON group dc408 in a rented theater. The film got the MT2K treatment and was non-stop jokes and laughs. @violetblue wrote about it (and reviewed the movie): zdnet.com/article/blackhat-t…
What's the most visceral collective audience response you've ever experienced in a theater? Mine was the butterfly scene in Jojo Rabbit at the TIFF premiere. A giant packed theater on opening night all gasping at the exact same time. I miss theaters! 😫
