That happened to me 12 years ago. Switched to application security because my skills carried over, then moved around in information security. I’m still happy with the career change.

Similar to my great-grandparents that lived through the Great Depression and stuffed their mattress full of cash thereafter, I plan to stock my house with a year’s supply of TP from now on. My future grandkids will ask why and I’ll respond “Back in 2020...”

AI with caller ID means they know who you are and why you are calling, and if the answer is “no”, the AI agent just hangs up instead. Phase 2, it will answer with “no” before hanging up.

Imagine knowing someone at your hotel is hiding and scared for their life, and deciding to make things even worse. I get that they may have been concerned for others at the hotel, but at least help find a safe place for them to go and offer to drive them. news5cleveland.com/news/loca…
