And shadow people, see how they spend their day! That’s how I figured out that I’d rather do pretty much anything else on this planet other than BCP/DR. Super important role, but not for me.

Bigger items are always a local retailer in case I want to return it and don’t want to ship it back. And some items I simply don’t trust Amazon, such as eye care solution, which Amazon will send me something with foreign language inserts. Probably fine, but no thanks.

My daughter suggested we become a "YouTube" family with our own channel, but advised we would "need to make our lives much more interesting." 🙄

My daughter, upon seeing my LinkedIn profile picture: "Oh Dad, you look so young!" I guess I should update that photo to something more recent...

Unfortunately, most teachers never branch out to let students choose what they want to read, and in doing so, find students no longer read beyond what is assigned.

Which goes to show my point: unfortunately, most students never branch out to read literature beyond what's assigned. And then they CLUTCH onto that idea that they know what "great" literature is SO TIGHTLY and fight so furiously at anyone who might bother to challenge it.

I still remember previewing HoneyApps many many years ago before you went live. Congrats on how far it’s come!

Whoever at @pandoramusic that fixed this, thanks! His Nirvana station now plays actual Nirvana songs! And the other songs are now much more similar (e.g. Bush, Metallica, Foo Fighters, etc). And while I have your attention, here's an April 1 idea: Baby Shark. All. Day. Long.
My son has a @pandoramusic station for Nirvana’s Smells Like Teen Spirit that literally never plays songs by Nirvana. Instead it plays musical gems such as Sweet Dreams by Eurythmics, Heaven by DJ Sammy, and What Is Love by Haddaway. Pretty sure Pandora is trolling him.
To give you an idea of how handy the advice is, I ordered the paperback version as a reference, because the audio version isn't going to cut it. If you want to become a better manager, or even just understand how the layers of management work, this is the book to get. /2

I've been listening to @skamille's The Manager's Path and it's really good, there's a lot of information I wished I knew 10 years ago. It also is so practical, that listening to it is actually frustrating because I'm driving and can't write down thoughts. /1

Observing a trend: colorful language is showing up in film and books, and with it, 1-star reviews complaining about it (from older Americans?) . It's weird to see many thoughtful 5-star reviews, then a 1-star review from 'Ethel' complaining about the 'f' word.

It’s a journey for sure!
This is why P2P platforms need a strong anti-fraud team. Fraud happens, that isn’t concerning; it happens in all P2P systems. What’s bullshit is @Airbnb being unavailable to address this problem head on.
update: the fbi has contacted me about this article. i still haven't been able to have a meaningful conversation with a human being at @airbnb, though. vice.com/en_us/article/43k7z…
The next Nashua @owasp meeting is November 18. We're continuing with WebGoat, this time we're looking at SQL Injection (SQLi). Super casual, no experience needed, bring a laptop or you can pair up with someone. meetup.com/OWASP-Nashua-Chap…
Same! Found it via article about Spain, made me wonder if the takedown extends to forked repos.

Work brought me here, and I started the Nashua chapter because driving into Boston for their chapter meetings is too painful. Next time you’re in town, let me know!
That’s what we do with our kids. Cauliflower in mashed potatoes, carrots in a fruit smoothie, blended greens added to pasta sauce, veggies boiled into a soup then strained and the soup used as a base for other dishes, etc.

The Nashua @owasp meeting was great fun at the Y. We installed Burp and WebGoat, and did an XSS challenge. Next month, we’ll continue with SQLi!

I’m partial to the 1999 Japanese horror film The Audition.
