It's sporadic, but I'll do my best to capture the network when it happens. The problem is that it's a failed read of the cache, which I don't think will show up in a network capture, but reloading the page fixes it, so maybe there's network activity with it. Thanks!

The last couple of months @googlechrome has become unreliable when loading cached resources, with the error "err_cache_read_failure". I've seen it on Win10 and Mac, with and without extensions, different networks, etc. Anyone know what is going on? /cc @mikewest

It appears @OldNavy possesses the gift of time travel. And my package still isn’t here.

Is there a theoretical limit to the number of different wikis a single company can use internally?

Haven’t had live TV in 10 years - all streaming in this house. Having a thousand channels of rando content isn’t a feature.

Agreed, but browsers need to account for fraud controls; ad tracking has a similar behavior profile to fraud protection for sites that operate cross-site (eg payment providers, commenting systems, etc).

I used to use different browsers for the purpose of having different identities active, but I started using this feature in Chrome over the last few months, works great! The only tricky thing is getting links from Slack to open in a default profile, wish that was easier.

Isn’t Edge source code already available through MS Shared Source Initiative? If so, enterprises, foreign nations, academics, OEMs, etc already have the source code - the 0-day horse is already out of the barn. microsoft.com/en-us/sharedso…

You should switch to a sticker sash, you’ll look boss and won’t have computer upgrade issues.

I’m a fan of the Stallman browser. lwn.net/Articles/262570/
I had the same experience, it was Gopher with pictures. Now I’m wishing I had started a bookstore on Gopher, then switched to the World Wide Web.

I feel your pain. I lived in Europe for four years and have DVDs that only play in an EU player that sits in my US living room.
