It's happen so many times over the last few years with so many medical billing companies that I suspect that's how it works, delay until pay
After three months of fighting with medical billing, they threaten to send to collections, making you eat their mistake or risk credit ruin
Seriously tired of dealing with medical billing and their errors. Problem is they say "fixed" but then get another wrong bill next month.

FYI, soaking bacon in maple syrup, then cooking it doesn't make maple-flavored bacon. You end up with candied-bacon, and not in a good way.
