@theharmonyguy Thanks, part of the issue is I don't know what the kids did to the phone. Given it was reset to factory, I assumed auto-erase
@theharmonyguy Does a 'restore' then restore the key? That would make sense why the data on the drive was suddenly available again.
@miscsecurity @superevr ah, so there's a progressive delay? My kids somehow did it in 30 minutes. Or maybe I had some other issue...

My kids did a DoS against my iPhone 4 by guessing my PIN too many times, causing it to auto-erase. I need to backup more often.
