I actually have one of those hotspots, I set it up in June. So far I have just barely made my money back on the purchase of the hotspot, which I definitely consider a success but is by no means going to get me anywhere $10,000 any time soon.
I've been doing this thing where any time I buy a new Apple device I buy the equivalent amount of $AAPL stock too. It means each purchase hits my wallet twice as hard, making me reconsider whether I really need it, and eventually makes back some of that cost too.
Sometimes Duolingo makes up sentences that don't make any sense, but I think even this is something they couldn't have come up with if it weren't for the pandemic

I feel like there's a good use case for them, but it's certainly not being notified of news articles or new recipes.
