Thank you! This is much needed. We ended up deleting the whole site and starting over and luckily it went extremely smoothly.

Don't know, I've never used it. I'm just getting bit by this @netlify issue on a project right now and it's incredibly frustrating.

TIL that your @netlify preview and branch deploys stick around forever, the only way to get rid of them is to delete the entire site. Better hope you never commit anything confidential/sensitive or any JS that calls out to external services... 🤦‍♂️

The names are definitely getting a bit silly

I have the M1 Air and that is so much better than my last computer that I don't feel the need to upgrade to the Pro/Max, so this is a nice confirmation

also lol i never knew that scam had a name. I just clicked thru to the link they sent that kind of hints at it without actually acknowledging the scam

That is a surprisingly consistent collection of items. If it happens over a long enough period of time it seems like you should be able to give Amazon support the tracking number and they can find out who ordered it and fix it.

This actually sounds like that review scam where they order their own product that actually gets shipped and then leave a review that shows up as a "verified purchase"

okay how about ordering at a coffee shop... I was always taught "Ich würde gern einen Kaffee" rather than "Ich möchte einen Kaffee". Same idea right?

But isn't it also the same as: "Ich würde gern Ihnen helfen" vs "Ich will dir helfen" Or does being so direct in German sound less abrasive than in English?

Doesn't German do that too? "Ich würde gern..." Similarly, "I want to help you" sounds weirdly aggressive compared to "I would like to help you"

I also haven't used mine all that much, but I will say the times I have used it I definitely would not have been able to rig up any other green screen.
