How it works, is that I'd publish a link like <a rel="me" href="nitter.vloup.ch/taravancil"/> on taravancil.com

Then I'd tell the app I want to sign up with to look at taravancil.com for the link. This hinges on it being easy to set up domain

Sure, tools exist to make that easier, but plain and simple setting up a personal domain is not easy for most folks

But w Dat and Beaker, creating a new domain is seamless. It's as simple as clicking a button, and tada! You've minted a new keypair/domain
