This is a good idea. I have mostly given up on my web idealism, largely b/c no one has interacted with me there for a long time.

and actually my first point isn't quite true, i did have engagement in the early days of podcasting online, but was 11 years ago (wow)

At this point most of those podcast relationships have moved into meatspace and I couldn't be happier with that turns of events.

I have toyed with it in the past using WithKnown but stopped because no one was responding (i think) but I'll look into it again

at the very least, it allows you to own your data while still talking with people on twitter, like this! check my last link!
