can møre than speed be pulled from the Gp5? Is the gps 1 or 10 htz? No info from GoPro...

More than speed can be extracted. GPS is 18Hz: Location, Altitude, 2D and 3D speed. IMU acceleration and gyroscope at 200+ Hz.

How does one get the data/log out? Is it written to the card? Will get a GP5 soon.....

Telemetry is written into the MP4 as a track, just like video and audio are tracks. Tools and third support is coming.
