Is it even possible to buy a TV that isn't smart? I want a screen I can plug things in to, not a computer with a terrible UI I can't change

@aaronpk Apparently not. But do you really need a TV? I haven't turned on mine for months.

@isaac32767 I prefer to think of my TV as a giant monitor. Actually I'm using a 19" monitor right now so...

@aaronpk had the same experience recently. the answer is no. i ended up with an LG because i thought it had the least offensive UI.

@aaronpk We bought a smart TV that doesn’t support WiFi. Comfortably dumb as long as you don’t plug in an ethernet cable :-)

@aaronpk My solution was a projector. They're all dumb devices, which is great for just playing content.
