How come I can't find any Thunderbolt expansion devices? I want more than the 2 Thunderbolt ports on my Macbook Pro.

That actually doesn't add any Thunderbolt ports. It only has one on the back!

The docks I found don't even have additional Thunderbolt ports, just provide the single port for for daisy chaining.

Yeah, that's certainly how it's intended, but so many Thunderbolt devices don't provide the additional port and can't be chained!

From what I can tell, the only way to get more than 2 Thunderbolt "chains" is to get a Mac Pro which has 6 ports on the back.

thunderbolt daisy chains. Shouldn't need more ports unless you already have long chains, right?
