More I've found: • if I load the page on Tue at 9am, the page is still open on Friday saying "5 days ago", is that relative to the Tue@9 or the Fri@3? 🤷 • updating relative dates triggers page re-layout/reflow • updating lots of relative dates = excess CPU consumption

@aaronpk @aallan it’s not either-or, and depends on where it’s used. Also, the absolute date is usually shown on hover.

@aaronpk I've always been a fan of displaying both absolute and relative dates. Abslute dates aren't easily human-readable.
