if you set your dock to hide, run this Terminal command to get rid of the slowest animation on macOS:
Defaults write com.apple.dock autohide-delay -float 0 && defaults write com.apple.dock autohide-time-modifier -float 0.4 && killall Dock

I do a lot of customer interviews with designers. It surprises me the number of folks who don’t use the `Automatically hide and show the Dock` settings?
That Dock takes up so much screen space especially on laptops.
