Do you keep your a-roll? I’m seriously considering trashing it all because it takes up SO much space

Nope! I recently deleted it all and it freed up literally terabytes of space. In 6 years of YouTube, I've never once needed it after filming. B roll is a totally different story, and I've found an archive to be priceless.

I've been keeping everything for now, but so far have never gone back to dig up the a-roll. I'm going to trash it all when I need the space. I've screencap'd a youtube video where I want to show that it was on youtube with the date and such. Agreed about b-roll tho.

Haha I’m in the same position. Kept everything so far but man it’s eating up my storage space.
