I don't think it's going to go out with a bang, but the slow decay has definitely already started. (the SMS verification codes don't work now)

I know two people that got warnings on their accounts, probably justifiably, that their access would be restricted for hours on end. And then were still able to use their account , unrestricted. There's definitely things that just aren't working anymore.
