I'm trying to set up a simple map that shows a phone's location over time (so my wife's family/friends can see her marathon progress). I can send GPS locations to an endpoint, I need the map. Are there any open source tools that let me do that or should I make it myself?

I've used @aaronpk 's Compass + Overland iOS app before but can't remember if it supports live tracking?

Looks cool! I'll have to check it out. Does it import the 10+ years of Google Timeline KML and/or GPX I have?

Not right now, but there's an API and it wouldn't take much to write a script to do that

For some background, I imported all my logs from 2008 to present into it a while ago. Previously they were in a variety of different formats depending on the server I was using at the time.
