I just got to scare the crap out of some kids who were climbing around my construction site by triggering a 12v siren from Home Assistant, and watched the whole thing on the remote camera feed! It was oddly satisfying, and I hope they get the message not to come back.

I don't know if I need to invite that kind of liability on myself, plus half the fun of it is wandering around without grownups around
