PBOT staff still here listening and taking questions. Project engineer just made new proposal: - Let us move fwd w plan as-is (see our story for details) - we will add more features like concrete barriers, speed bumps, etc.. - we will reopen diverter decisions from 2018 (!!)

Negotiations continuing… PBOT really wants to start project because they have a contractor ready to start. Ppl are saying no, not without seeing a plan first. PBOT: “that takes too long, we can’t agree to that.” (Pic is PBOT planner Steve Szighety)

Meeting is done… PBOT will share proposal w added promised features and give folks until this Monday (emails of everyone were gathered) to sign off on it. Then it’s full steam ahead. (Not sure what happens if the neighbors say no to the proposal.) Full story tomorrow. 😎
