I played around with it for a minute but I can't figure out how to add the weather widgets on top of my own background image for the lock screen. Is that possible?

oh I just figured it out. You have to make a *new* wallpaper, you can't add widgets to an existing non-widget-based wallpaper 🤦‍♂️
