Hey @reneritchie just watched your eSIM video; was a major concern for me too, primary for international travel, but I was just introduced to @airalocom and here you can buy eSIM in nearly any country before you even arrive. Seems majorly awesome.

I downloaded an app called Airalo, and you can buy and install sims directly with it. Last time I was in the Philippines I bought a sim while I was using the in flight wifi on the airplane.

I've been using eSIMs for international travel for a while now, it's fantastic. Having cell service from the moment the plane touches down because I bought it before I left is great.

Are you using Airalo?

I first was using GigSky when there were barely any options available. I used Airalo in Finland, and more recently Nomad for a bunch of EU countries.

I recently used @holafly_com for eSIM coverage in the Dominican Republic. eSIMs are a win for consumers. I just bought the service before I left, got a QR code, added it to my phone just after I landed (had to have Wi-Fi) and voila! great LTE service.

I do the same. My concern is when I travel to Malawi (Africa) where eSIMs have yet to be introduced. I hope they are introduced soon cc: @AirtelMalawiPlc @TNM_MALAWI

Yes, done this for Mexico, and USA (2x). Worked perfectly each time. Big advance.
