I somehow ended up with not one, not two, but three separate hotel reservations for my trip next week, and I am baffled as to what part of my normal travel process failed that caused this to occur.

Actually I think the problem is that we are now forced to use TripActions, and TripIt doesn't know how to parse the flight confirmation emails from TripActions, so I no longer have a single view of my travel anymore

TripActions app has its own itin, are you looking to add events to the TripActions itin?

Nope other way around. Sometimes I end up booking things outside of TripActions, like when I book a hotel with a conference group code.

Ah so then you want to bring outside bookings into the TA itin?

Or are you looking to send TripActions bookings to TripIt?

I know this probably isn't what you want to hear, but I really don't want TripActions to be the source of truth, I'd rather keep that in something that doesn't actually book tickets or pay for things for me like TripIt.

TripIt is a Concur product; you can ask them to parse TripActions receipts but TripActions wouldn’t be able to make it easier for them to parse ours since we don’t work with them.
