I somehow ended up with not one, not two, but three separate hotel reservations for my trip next week, and I am baffled as to what part of my normal travel process failed that caused this to occur.

Actually I think the problem is that we are now forced to use TripActions, and TripIt doesn't know how to parse the flight confirmation emails from TripActions, so I no longer have a single view of my travel anymore

TripActions app has its own itin, are you looking to add events to the TripActions itin?

Nope other way around. Sometimes I end up booking things outside of TripActions, like when I book a hotel with a conference group code.

💯!! The incredible convenience of plans@tripit.com is the reason I happily pay for @TripIt pro every year… @TripActions could you guys find a way of parsing each other’s formats?
