SAML configuration expectation is easier to describe for both the application and the provider.

I have not yet seen a single SaaS app with an easy description of their OIDC/OAuth connection. But their are plenty with easy to follow SAML guides ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ
Not talking about the protocol itself. Just how easy it is for a SaaS vendor to provide configuration information that can be followed by the IT department of the customer.

Just look at e.g. the documentation of ServiceNow. The OAuth setup is more more complex than SAML ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™‚๏ธ
