A free product to make a video! Sweet, just gonna plan the video, write everything down, spend time shooting the b roll, shoot the talking head, reshoot some stuff, spend a bunch of hours editing the video, shoot the thumbnail, do the SEO, and then we’re done! Is it worth it?

The other day I added up that a “typical” video takes somewhere between 17 and 20 hours from start to finish. Very few free products would make that amount of time worth it.

and even then, it's only worth it if the product is something you actually end up using regularly, otherwise it just sits on a shelf I guess?

That's why I really consider the use a product will have for me down the line. For reviews, I'll take a product and then give it to a friend who can benefit from it
