I bet if you asked some construction companies they'd tell you "oh yeah, that's a known hazard. You can't build much above 900 feet (600 cubits) without serious language scrambling problems"

Fun fact: the tallest stone structure in the world (ie, only stone, no sneaky steel beams inside), is only 170m tall (555 feet). It's this one.
