Looking for a US CITIZEN who recently traveled to the EU. How much of a hassle was entering the EU/Schengen zone? I'm trying to make sense of the current rules and regulations, and how much they're enforced in practice. Please RT.

I recently flew in to Austria and the only check for covid related docs was at the airport in the US before I boarded. Landing in Vienna was just a regular passport check.
