Both I guess? Maybe I'm wrong, but let's say I wrote a trending post and 100 different people tweet it, that results in a hundred web mentions or? There's no discussion, just the info that 100 people shared it (which I think is not particularly useful).

There's enough info for you to hide those if you want to only show specifically the replies and not just mentions
