"Lyft would like to find and connect to devices on your local network" 🤔 What do you suppose this is for?

My guess is to send notifications to a Cast-enabled device (since Apple is shady and doesn't require consent for AirPlay)

I know drivers sometimes have the little appliances in their cars to light up with the passengers names, but what could this do as a passenger? When I'm in a Lyft I'm not even on wifi

I meant a notification to a smart speaker or display (which I hope is true as that would be super useful when at home)
