the power went out at 6am with no indication of when it'll be back, so I hand ground some coffee beans and will now find out if you can make french press coffee with hot tap water

I think this is the move. Luke warm water to make coffee is usually quite disappointing mud water.

My theory was the lukewarm water would make the cold press process go faster..? Also I don't wanna wait 12 hours for my first coffee of the day 馃槶
