Fellow Creators: Beware of this new scam coming out. It seems to be more elegant than most scams and is likely a top-funnel email where they get you down the line after building rapport.

hm. Seems sus, but also less sus than most phishing emails. Anyone know about this? (so much for being private I guess🤷♂️)
The same registrant (could use whatever name, I bet) but the same registrar. Nothing in the email itself seems to be compromised so it is top-funnel if bad.

yeah I suspect you're right. I'm curious what the next play is. Maybe they send you a download link to the special "Spotify VIP" app?

Login information to "verify" my account (that I don't have because I don't use Spotify) maybe?
I know there are a ton of hacked Spotify accounts out there that make some money for the hackers somehow. I don't know how though.

I would if it were me! Just stay on high alert mode of course... don't download anything, don't connect any OAuth apps to anything, and click links only using an isolated computer. I'm always curious about these things!

One time me and @hak5darren sent a fake Microsoft tech support scammer goatse after keeping them on the phone for an hour.
