One of the biggest issues I have with some folks in the #Indieweb community right now are the people who want to demetricate social media posts. My opinion on that, is that metrics aren't bad in themselves.

Frankly I agree, I find value in some metrics for various reasons, it's not always a bad thing. There also isn't a single #IndieWeb opinion on this kind of thing, which is the great part about the IndieWeb.

I think I’m definitely going to expand a little bit more on my reasoning for this. I still agree with your consensus, though about the algorithmic timeline. It drives me nuts.
