The reason these platforms started in dorms and garages by people who were technical and bought by corporations with the money tells them story clearly, of what happens when you don鈥檛 have all the pieces of the puzzle and have to supplement them from outside of yourself ...

These mega corporations have not been able to truly internally launch and build successful creator driven platforms...
They always acquire them from the fringe startups lead by small teams of visionaries...
Who themselves wouldn鈥檛 make it as content creators...

Content creators generally lack the technical ability or business acumen to launch, build and scale independent platforms that would be able to serve hundreds of millions of users... at least historically.
And it usually would compete with their own craft for priority...
