So uh. This is my second video I'm editing with Resolve, and I dont really miss FCPX all that much. I guess I've officially switched. Weird that.

Is it difficult to get used to the different keyboard commands?

I set some keyboard preferences that I'm slowly building up muscle memory for, so I'm not as fast at the actual cutting yet but should be up to speed soon.

Good to know that you can change the keyboard shortcuts. Honestly all I want is a plug in of some sort to cut out the dead air and enable stream deck support which would be SOO handy for equalising audio levels by the push of a button or cropping and key framing

You mean like something that automatically goes through and cuts out all the blank spots? Thats like the holy grail of automatic video editing.

That exactly what I’m taking about being I do all my videos in one take with jump cuts and if I could slit that with the push of a button I’d be 100% on board with that. I’d pay up €15 for that and I’d consider switching from final cut if I had to

Man I just imagine people like a younger @imPatrickT being out of a job if we can just click a button and have all the blank spaces edited out. I'd easily pay $1000 for a tool like that.
