I've been editing this video for like an hour and a half before realizing the audio I recorded is NOT from the microphone I reviewed and have to completely re-record the whole thing. It was a damn good take, too, V2 won't be as good.

this is why scripting would be useful, easy to replicate. I winged this one and it was great but winging again will not produce the same result

Someone suggested to me once that I first record an off-the-cuff take, then transcribe it, edit, and then read off a teleprompter. I haven't actually done that yet, I'm skeptical it would turn out the same, but I am tempted to try.
