A few months ago, I went through all the differences between the @Blackmagic_News ATEM Mini and the ATEM Mini Pro. If you got one, which one was right for you? Tell me why; I'd love to hear it! And if you haven't seen the video yet, here it is: jal.bz/2Seblym

I have both the original and pro and rely heavily on the hardware encoding and streaming directly from the Ethernet port. Now wondering whether the ISO makes sense for simplifying record and production of product demos - not even for editing live-streams.

I don’t think so… why add the switcher when you can just record in camera, if you’re not already going to switch? Plus, unless you edit in Resolve, you can’t use the EDL from the ATEM. If you go live then it’s great, even better if you use BMPCC cams and can swap in 4K originals

Can't you convert a Resolve project to FCPX or Premiere? I think it depends on your production workflow. Personally I shoot A-roll and B-roll separately so I wouldn't use the ISO model in a studio setting.

Possibly, actually. I did find the Resolve format of “multi cam” very odd though.
