Use case I am looking forward to is as a second screen for video meetings. I got a Blackmagic ATEM Mini and will use this as a second video source and mix in picture in picture at source rather than share a desktop. Super nice!

Bought a Blackmagic mini cause you told me to and didn’t know what I’d use it for but now I get it !

Hook up an iPad to a second input and do slides or any screens you would normally share from that. Then your zoom computer on input 1 can be picture-in-pictured.

Am now setup similarly, along with DSLR for primary video. bonus: iPhone on a stand for a feed of the whole rig from a different angle! Complexity/“fiddlyness” still puts this into hobbyist+ territory

I just plugged the main PC HDMI output into input 4 -- since the blackmagic acts as a second monitor. That was some serious inception stuff. You can actually make the whole thing go "infinite" by using Windows camera as the black magic viewer.

If your Zoom presence wasn’t the most captivating, it’s about to be a consistent show stealer! BTW, if you’re in need of Atem mini tips/tricks, @aaronpk (of Okta no less) is the best resource. His YouTube recordings are great.

Omg I have watched his excellent videos and had no idea he was at Okta! PS Aaron, ATEM doesn’t need to program@existing buttons. It could just have a set of function keys that are unused by default like a tv remote.

Thanks! That'd work too but I was trying to suggest to them something they can ship in a firmware update without building new hardware!
