Why is there not a "like" or "thumbs up" equivalent in email? 馃槶 I need them to know I got it but it definitely doesn't constitute a *reply* "Sounds good!" *send*

Outlook 365 has a "like" button for email and I will say it is a very strange experience to get these likes in work emails.

What does that look like for the person receiving??

You get a little notification that someone liked your email, and then you can also see a list of everyone who liked the email! I guess it's pretty well done.

Man, @Microsoft is continuing to surprise me every day. I am tempted to try it over Gmail now.

Looks nice but unfortunately it's not built into universal email standards... so does it check if the receiver is also using Outlook? Otherwise they won't ever see the "like". 馃槦
