I wish I was better at motion graphics. I have this animation in my head for my next video and I don't really have the knowledge or tools to make it come to life.

I feel the same way all the time! - What have you tried so far, if anything? I feel like the adobe suite is a bit overkill and overcomplicates but there doesn’t seem to be many viable alternatives

I've done some in Keynote, which works great for relatively simple animations. I've tried learning Apple Motion and Adobe stuff too, I guess I just need practice to be more fluent in them.

I'm spending a part of my quarantine learning After Effects, finally. I'll probably never consider myself an animator, but being able to move things around the way I used to in Flash (and still feel sort of relevant) will be good for me.

After Effects feels eerily similar to Flash in some ways.

blender.org and a lot of patience might do the trick.

I’ve been doing loads of Apple Motion stuff over the years. Next time I’ll be happy to help out (though Keynote was a good solution!)

Pay someone. Lots of freelance animators looking for a short project now

Right now there's an artist out there saying the same thing about programming
